Recipe: Glowing Green Smoothie
Getting those greens in whenever & wherever I can! I typically like to start my day on a lighter note and add more substantial foods towards the afternoon and evening. Our bodies go 7-8 hours (hopefully) with no water during a nights sleep and the first thing it needs in the morning is water and hydrating foods. This morning smoothie is filled with some key fruits and vegetables to be light on your stomach, easy to digest, and get that glow!
Glowing Green Smoothie
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Paleo, Vegan, Vegetarian
Ingredients
handful of romaine lettuce
handful of spinach
2 stalks chopped celery
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 cup fresh or frozen mango
1 banana
water (as much you’d like)
Directions
Blend the romaine, spinach, celery, and water first
Add in the rest of the ingredients and enjoy!
