Recipe: Banana Cinnamon Oatmeal

Banana Cinnamon Oatmeal

Gluten Free, Vegan

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup dry gluten free rolled oats (I use the One Degree Organics brand)

  • 1 banana

  • ground cinnamon

Directions

  • Bring 3/4 cup water to a boil in small pot.

  • Add in oats and lower to medium/low heat. cover & let it simmer for a few minutes.

  • Continue to stir until oatmeal and water are evenly mixed. when it’s just about ready, add in sprinkle of cinnamon + 1/2 sliced banana and mix.

  • When ready to serve, pour into bowl and add the other half of banana & sprinkle cinnamon on top.

  • If you like your oatmeal a bit sweeter, add in a dash of pure maple syrup!
